How to get a deadbeat listed in this forum

Postby admin » Sun Dec 04, 2005 7:37 pm

While we hate to admit this, sometimes the fine folks who are willing to help out a fellow VJEMC'er gets ripped off by the bums that we like to call deadbeats. While we'd like to think that maybe they "just forgot" to send the money or part, there seems to always be those one percenters around that do it intentionally.

To help in keeping other people from getting ripped off, this forum was created. So if you get burned, then be sure to send a Private Message or email to us. In your note please include your full name and username, the full name and username of the deadbeat and the details of the transaction. We'll post the information here in this forum, send the person a warning email and ban them from the forums.

Understand that there isn't too much else we can do for deadbeats other than the options I just listed. You however are always free to persue other options, including legal ones. Please see the FBI Internet Fraud website for further details. http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp

Note: Only moderators can post to this forum and no replies will be allowed. That is so we don't end up with a "free for all".

PS - if you do business with a deadbeat listed here and find that they were good to deal with, be sure to let us know. That way we can keep things updated with how things are currently being run. Who knows - someone may get a conscience and start doing things the way that they should.
