I'm Quentin Finucan, the long time owner of this 1980 Suzuki GS1100E.  I bought this bike way-back in 1981 from a motorcycle dealership in LaCrosse, WI. The previous owner was too short to ride it comfortably, which turned out to be my good fortune !

My GS1100E had just a couple of thousand miles on it when I bought it, and came with an RC Engineering header and a custom stepped-down seat. The original factory exhaust was also included in the deal.

Today my Suzuki has about 34,000 miles on it and looks almost as good as the day I bought it, thanks to a good friend's help and hard work.

Recently, I entered my bike in a vintage motorcycle show. It didn't get recognized with a trophy, but it sure gave me a lot of pride seeing it in such detailed condition, and watching the show goers look nostalgically at it !  (mine was the only GS1100E in the show)

I have another bike that is technically more advanced (Kawasaki ZRX1200) but you know what?....it's still fun to run my Suzuki GS1100E !!!
