All firms listed on this page have applied to become members of the VJEMC’s “Preferred Dealer List.” Applicants must complete 1 year of service to VJEMC members while on this webpage’s “Recommended Dealer List” without any complaints about their products or services from members, in order to be promoted to the preferred status list the following year. (or if a complaint occurs, it is resolved satisfactorily to both parties). Firms on this page also have agreed to a minimum of a 5% discount on all goods and services purchased from them when you submit proof of your VJEMC membership and show your membership card and number.

Members and non-members are encouraged to contact us with recommendations of firms that provide top quality goods or services, as we wish to promote these firms to our members in our “preferred dealer list” which is distributed to the full membership each March in the "Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide." Does machining and engine rebuilding for Japanese and European motorcycles. Specializes in cylinder and head repairs. Produces electronic ignition kits for Honda twins, as well as performance parts for Honda 350 twins. Does boring, sleeving, and fin repair. In house dyno for development work. Shop was purchased in 1982, but has been in the same location since 1973, when it started as a Hodaka and Indian dealership. Johnny’s has been in business since 1984. We have the largest selection of vintage Kawasaki parts in the world, stocking approximately 30,000 different Kawasaki part numbers in our system. Mostly NOS, some reproduction; some used. We service vintage Kawasaki and we have a good selection of vintage Harley Davidson parts. We are a Colony Machine distributor, making parts from 1915 – 2008. We also have a good selection of  NOS Harley Davidson parts, some reproduction and some used. Our shop is involved in vintage flat track racing. Owner John Bova is AHRMA Classic 250 Champion on a Bultaco in 1997 & 1999. We currently sponsor Tom Morgan, who is the 250 Modern Vintage Class Champion since 2003. Tom rides our Kawasaki-based KX250 in a Knight frame. We restore Vintage Kawasakis as well as repair them. We also work on Harleys from 1930s to 1970’s. We specialize in wheel lacing and truing. Our mechanic for the last 15 years is Hilo Ito from Japan, a former GP250 racer on Yamaha.

NAEF Cycle is a full service repair shop for most makes and models of motorcycles, snowmobiles and ATVs. The shop features a Hoffman tire changer, a tire balancer, steel and aluminum welders, and a wide variety of hard-to-find "specialty" tools required to repair most vintage motorcycles.

NAEF Cycle is located next-door to an ASE certified automotive machine shop specializing in race engines, which enables them to provide you with high quality and prompt cylinder boring and valve jobs on our major engine rebuilds.

Sells all makes and models of motorcycles, though most tend to be 70s-80s Japanese bikes. Sells bikes on consignment for customers. Many are customs or modified street bikes. Specialize in many Honda CB style café racers. Services all makes and models, with a specialty in classic and vintage Japanese and European bikes. Does custom fabrication of little parts needed to keep old bikes alive and on the road. Services scooters of all types, from classic Vespas to modern Hondas. (yeah, we’ll work on a Harley, too, but it’s not something we brag about!) Can order just about any part, often being able to get them overnight. Performs a great deal of performance tuning on older bikes from simple carb tuning and suspension set-ups to full race prep. “We enjoy what we do,” says the owner, “which is why our service rates are just $37 per hour!”

Shop opened in May of 2005. After 21 years in the Army, the owner decided to move back to his hometown and open the shop. Owner has actively raced motorcycles in both road racing and MX competition in classic and vintage classes, with numerous wins. Owns a small fleet of Honda scooters that they rent during the summer to vacationers. Hosts local bike events and pokers runs as well. Shop has many vintage bikes on display and customers appreciate the one-on-one service and the chance to enjoy the old bikes and memorabilia. Owner is also an active MSF instructor for the state of Wisconsin, and encourages new riders to look into vintage and classic bikes instead of always looking to new bikes.
